The Idaho Legislature has approved an update to IDAPA Rule 18.01.53 that allows the Department of Insurance
to enforce a Continuing Education (CE) requirement for Resident and Designated Home State-Idaho Independent
Adjusters. (Nonresident and agency adjusters are not affected by this rule.)

- RESIDENTS and DESIGNATED HOME STATE – IDAHO adjusters must have CE downloaded prior to renewal. You can
track the status of your CE by clicking on
Individual CE Transcript Inquiry
under the Continuing Education page of our website. Independent Adjuster agents must show 24 hours of CE credits total
with a minimum of three credits in Ethics. Look for approved courses in the
CE Course Catalog
on the Continuing Education pages.
