Welcome to the Fire Department Equipment Exchange

You are welcome to list any excess equipment you are looking to get rid of or look over what is currently available from other fire departments around Idaho.

A few key rules to remember about the Exchange:

  • The State Fire Marshal makes no assurances or guarantees regarding the availability, condition, or delivery of equipment. We’re only here to provide a means of communication between fire departments.
  • Please notify us when items are no longer available so that we can remove the listing on the Exchange.
  • Please use reasonable judgement when setting a timeframe for how long an item will be listed. One month is generally a good maximum time to list items.
  • Please list only items relevant to the operations of a fire department. This isn’t intended as a classified ads or yard sale site.
