UPDATE – Effective April 30, 2026:
Exam appointments with livescan fingerprinting will resume at Pearson VUE’s Spokane Valley testing center effective May 2, 2026. The Boise and Pocatello testing centers are expected to reopen shortly thereafter.
Thank you for your continued patience while Pearson VUE completes the final steps to restore fingerprinting services in Idaho.
Please be aware, the vendor used by the Idaho Department of Insurance to collect fingerprints for licensing in the state of Idaho, Pearson VUE, has temporarily shut down fingerprint collection due to technical issues.
Pearson VUE is working diligently to resolve the issue and have assured us they will reopen processing as soon as they are able. In the meantime, your patience is appreciated.
